Write the first draft of a composition of two or three paragraphs about the Ruiz family in
Seville. You may wish to answer some of these questons: How many members does
the family have? What are their names? Where do they live? What does
each family member do? Why does Raquel need to talk with them? Add any other
information you want, but pay attention to the structure of the composition. Use
whatever time you have left to check for and correct gender agreement and subject and verb
agreement. (30 puntos)
[Helpful Hints: Do not write out your composition at home and
try to memorize it. Instead you should try to think about the Spanish words you know
and which terms and expressions you will use in this composition. You may want to
memorize one or two words, guía turístico for example, to tell what
Miguel (padre) does. Be sure to write enough to make the composition worth 30 points
- that is nearly 1/3 of the test score. When you have completed your composition on
the test, go back through methodically looking for the subject first then checking the
verb for agreement, etc.]

will probbably want to discuss them in chrono-logical order and perhaps expand a bit on
the most important subject. With the time you have left, check your style and try to
make it flow more smoothly by adding words that connect phrases. (30 puntos) [Again,

may want to look up one or two words and memorize them (maestro, ganador
de la lotería, for example), but do NOT write out and memorize
the entire composition... It is too much work and will not produce a satisfactory product
