Winter Nellis Pears are a perfumed sweet round fruit, that  keeps well, and is very juicy. Winter Nellis Pears grow well in the Pacific Northwest.It is not one of the more known pears, but is a wonderful winter pear to be eaten out of hand and baked.

Pears are a good source of vitamin C and fiber.A medium sized pear, weighing about 166 grams, contains only 100 calories. Levulose, the sweetest of known natural sugars, is found to a greater extent in
fresh pears than any other fruit!
