Peak season for Ugli Fruit  is December through April.

 

Handling Tips and General Information:

Ugli Fruit is an ugly citrus fruit hybrid cross between a mandarin tangerine and a grapefruit. Ugli is easily peeled and has a flavor reminiscent of pineapple and mandarin. It is a very good source of vitamin C. Ugli Fruit should be stored at 50 degrees F.Ugli Fruit has the same uses as Grapefruit.
