Melons Family:

This collection of thumbnails consists of a selection of fruits from the Cucumis family.

There are three broad groups of melons defined by color and form. Some have netting with a pattern on the skin, some are smooth skinned. Some have a bumpy or warty exterior.

Melons are eaten in their natural state, either as an appetizer, breakfast fruit, or as a refreshing dessert.
