![]() Teaching Materials /Resources and On-line Courses This is great site for syllabi, lecture notes, handouts, and bibliographies. I have pulled out the sections that deal more specifically with our courses, but feel free to browse the rest of the site: Introductions to Philosophy Critical Reasoning Logic Ethics Philosophy of Religion History of Philosophy Feminist Philosophy Social and Political Philosophy Good resourse for a number of key concepts in critical reasoning such as premise, conclusion, argument, deductive argument, validity, and informal fallacies. Also there is the good use of a graphics flow chart method for analyzing arguments. Courses and sites are listed alphabetically with short descriptions This site emphasizes the Catholic view and includes a number of interesting links: Supreme Court Decisions by Topic ( Decisions since May,1990 ) This site contains a section on Bioethics for Beginners, a virtual library, a section on physician-assisted suicide and on cloning law and policy.
